Hamilton

Took Hamilton to the Apple Orchard to see if he would like it there. It went down hill the second he saw all of the other ducks... He ran away scared from them and hide behind the kids. He would not get in the pond. Decided to take himself on a tour threw the event barn and walk around with the groom whose wedding was going on. Tried preening on the large dogs who did not appreciate it. Thought he would go shopping in their cider store. At one point I looked over and a group of women were standing in a circle talking... and so was Hamilton like he was one of them.... He thoroughly enjoyed his day, I think his highlight was riding shotgun and watching the birds out the sunroof... I think I have given him a complex..

Two girls a dog and a duck.

These pictures were from a month or so ago. I just have not had time to get a lot of post done!! With summer getting wrapped  up and school starting soon and doing our Homeschooling its just been super busy!!

Remy could care less if Hamilton is in the pool he will hoop in and splash around... Hamilton does not find it funny.

Remy is the best dog. BEST! Everyone ask what the "Duck Dog" thinks of the duck and does he try to eat him. No He has never tried to eat him. Not once. In fact quite the opposite,You can see in one of the pictures where Hamilton walks up and starts preening on Remy and it kind of weirds Remy out! Now that Hamilton has gotten Full grown, He is about 15 weeks. He chases both dogs around, just like he is one of them. Funny Bird!

Here are some pictures of my loves, this was a day during our Ocean/ Water unit. The bottom pictures are of Raley collecting acorns and Sir Hamilton came over to see what she was doing ( He is so nosey!) and then they were off to collect more with Hamilton squawking the whole way!

Look at this little gem I found! He was maybe two weeks old here. He always sleeps on my feet, still does! Its really cute, buuuut kind of anoying when I need to move so I try and strrrreach to get things so i dont have to move and wake him, but it never works.

Costoluto Genovese Tomato, Juliet Tomatos, Sweet/Amethyst/Lemon Basil, Sage, Rosemary, Jelly gourd, Mini Sweet Peppers, there was Thai Basil but I ripped it out.. It smelled like Black Licorice. Yack! 

Luffa Gourd, yes the sponge and no Luffa does not grow on the bottom of the ocean.

Mr. Hamilton. ( He has gotten alot bigger since I took these pictures... I miss him this little!!)

Strawberries ( They do not do much the first year and it is best to pick the berries off so you have a better harvest the following year, so I left it open and let the birds have there way with it)

Sweet Potatoes I planted 5 slips( Mr. Nye gave me a old Whiskey Barrel to grow them in!! I think it is so cool!)

If I mentioned a plant but did not show a picture of it, it is because their is not much to mention besides its more then likely a large green leafy plant! I will post more pics when it actually does something!

Also I do not have my Sunflower fort Iam growing for the girls in this... You can see a little bit of it in the picture above when they are running at me with Hamilton its in the top left of the pic.

These are the beds I made last year, they are still as perfect as the previous year except now they have the pretty aged look cedar gets!
